May 6, 2022 I extend deep gratitude from myself, my family and from all the children's families in Sonoyta, Sonora Mexico. We have benefited tremendously as each child has received a new pair of tennis shoes and a new pair of socks. these shoes enable them to walk to school and play at school as well. We are very appreciative to all those who help make this charity possible! This charity has provided 3500 new tennis shoes and socks to the children of Sonoyta over the last year. It was inspiring to be a part of the team to go to Mexico and place shoes on childrens feet. The smiles on their faces and the gratitude expressed was so rewarding to know that for a small moment we could bring a ray of sunshine to these children.
I loved going to Mexico to participate in the shoe drive event. I felt like I made a difference as I watched the childrens faces light up when I put new shoes on their feet. The childrens old shoes had holes and most of them didn't even have tennis shoes. when we gave the children new tennis shoes, it helped them run and play more easily. I enjoyed watching hem happily walk away with their new shoes.

Shoes for Kids in Sonoyta
We collect new shoes and socks year round and then take them to Sonoyta Mexico and place them directly on the children’s feet. Volunteers needed to join us the end of January 2024.
